war of the worlds
“It seems to me now … incredible … with that swift fate hanging over us, men could go about their petty concerns as they did.”

About War of the Worlds
Layering text from the HG Wells novel, with excerpts from the Orson Welles, and original dramaturgy by Frog in Hand – this production features an original soundtrack, unique set made from found scaffolding, farm row cloth, and costumes remade from recycled materials. Produced under the historic cedar beams of the old Port Credit Arena, War of the Worlds poses pressing questions about hubris and its resulting “serene confidence in the future.” A compelling metaphor for climate crisis.
